Rockland Rockets Basketball

Battle of Bayonne, Coach Pags 10U boys boys went 4-0.  It was a tough day on Sunday playing a scrappy team from NJABC, being up by only 4 pts at half, and the other team having a very voiceteriuos rowdy crowd made for a interesting and fun game.  They settled down in the second half and we made some adjustments and got back to playing the Rockets game, ending up with the "W".  With only 7 players against the other team with a 3-0  records, the team put forth great effort. Coaches are very proud of the effort and vigor as they were short handed all weekend playing 3 out of the 4 games with just 7 players.

Up to this point of the season the boys have played 33 games and are improving every week and playing as a team, Coach Pags said, "it is great to watch them and their hard work is paying off, and most importantly we are having fun and enjoying playing together as a team."
